Here you can have what everyone wants a private mountain home that is only 10 minutes from downtown Asheville! This large lot in the exclusive Crest Mountain neighborhood is your blank slate - prepped and ready to go for building. Pre-clearing and initial grading was done and underground utilities including electric, high-speed internet, natural gas, city water, and city sewer are ready for connection- no guesswork on septic or a well! The architect the sellers consulted said it is a good and relatively easy building lot due to the natural shelf in the middle (see attached topo survey). Building plans included with an acceptable offer. Current winter view and likely year-round view once a home is built and even better once other lots are cleared for building. See link for videos showing potential views. The community is gated and the lot is on a cul-de-sac where no other homes have been built so quiet and privacy are outstanding. No scary, steep roads and it is paved all the way to the lot! Trivia question: who was Ben Lippen? Answer: it's actually not a who but a what - Ben Lippen is a Scottish phrase meaning "Mountain of Trust" and was indeed the name given to a school that was in the area in the 1940s.
